Brillo 2026

A$450.00

In 'Brillo', 2026, which represents Simon Paredes's first engagement with the production of limited edition screen prints, the artist has focussed on the distinctive red, white and blue packaging of Brillo soap pads. This design was made famous in the 1960s when American Pop artist Andy Warhol recreated the Brillo box, constructing it in plywood and screen printing each side in an exact replica of cartons that were stacked on the supermarket shelves.
